URGENT: Nathan "Nate" Lauer - Missing (5-22-2021)- Update (5/26/2021)- Found

Update 5/26/2021- Nate has been found, unfortunately his body was recovered from the river. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Nate Lauer is currently missing. He was last seen on May 22, 2021 around 7:15AM at a campsite on Johnetta Rd in Leechburg, PA.

Last Known Location: Last seen on Saturday, May 22, 2021 around 7:15AM at a campsite on Johnetta Road in Leechburg, PA.

Case Details: Nate was camping at Johnetta Campground with two friends and was up all night drinking. He was last seen swimming in the Allegheny River Saturday morning at 7:15-7:30AM by his friends. One man fell asleep and when he woke up Nate and the other man were missing. He assumed they went home but authorities questioned him and he stated he did not take him home. At the time of his disappearance, Nate was wearing black shorts and black sneakers. He might be wearing a black baseball cap and he is believed to be barefoot. Nate's phone goes straight to voicemail and he has no money on him. He may have been intoxicated at the time of his disappearance.

Authorities conducted searches of the river with divers and K-9 units were used on land, however no trace of Nate has been found.
