Episode #10: Beth Lynn Barr - Murdered (1977)

In November 1977, Beth was abducted while walking home from school after an early dismissal before Thanksgiving break. Less than two years later her body was found in a shallow grave on the edge of a cemetery.

Crime Scene: Beth was abducted while walking home from school on November 23rd, 1977. She was last seen talking to a man in a blue sedan with a red & white license plate which is believed to be an Ohio plate. Beth's remains were recovered from the area near Restland Memorial Park near the duck pond.


Last Known Location Alive: Walking southeast on Ardmore Blvd, left onto Marlboro Ave, and immediately right on Traymore Ave.


Injury Description: Multiple stab wounds to the chest.


Suspect Description: Caucasian male, in his 40's, 5'10"-5'11" tall, medium build, with medium brown curly hair. At the time he was wearing a grey suit with blue tinted sunglasses.
