Bucks County "Jane Doe" - Identified (2021)

After 33 years, the remains of a pregnant woman that were discovered in an abandoned distillery were identified today. Lisa Todd, a Philadelphia resident was reported missing in October of 1985 and was 6 months pregnant at the time. Police were able to use a team of DNA genealogists to search for family members and connect the dots. Lisa's death is still considered suspicious and police will continue the search for answers.

Ethnicity: Caucasian - Sex: Female

Height: 5'0"- 5'3" - Weight: 100-120lbs

Hair Color: Brown - Eye Color: Unknown

Location Found: Bensalem, PA (Bucks County)

State of Remains: Skeletal - Nature of Death: Suspected Homicide/Accident


Injuries: No injuries reported. Considered suspicious due to location of remains found with intent to conceal.


Distinguishing Characteristics: Lisa was 6 months pregnant.


Clothing/Items Found: Braxton designer jeans, size 8; a purple lace camisole, black leather open-toed platform shoes (size 8 to 8 1/2) and a black bodysuit top. An oval sterling silver ring with five clear stones and five additional stones missing, and a silver colored ring with a belt-and-buckle design. Other clothing found near the remains: a black blouse with gold and silver metallic threads, gray leather high-heeled pump shoes (size 6 to 6 1/2), a white patterned pullover dress and black mesh stockings. It is unknown if the additional clothing belonged to the victim.

Dental Records: Available- 2-Present and the cheek side of the clinical crown was missing. 8-Present, incisal edge chipped, crescent shaped edge. 9-Present and distal half of clinical crown missing. 10-Present & mesial half of clinical crown missing.
